Singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Max Frost has returned with his new single, “Head In The Clouds.” The new track is the first to come off his forthcoming EP Flying Machines out May 6th.
“Head In The Clouds” hovers above throwback Motown-style synth organ fueled by a head-nodding beat. While the airy high-register hook sails to the heavens, Max serves up a head-spinning solo.
Of the track, he said, “This song is about someone holding back from being in love. Their head is in the clouds and their eyes wander through the fog of naivety and youth. It’s a call for something more to happen between two people. A demand of the feeling that’s just on the edge to come full circle.”
Max co-produced “Head In The Clouds” with Jennifer Decilveo (Miley Cyrus, MARINA, Lucius). He also played every instrument on the track.
