Indie-pop artist JT Foley has released her debut single, “scaredy cat” via Arthouse Records today. Produced by Andrew Pacheco (producer/member of Nashville indie band Moody Judy) and written with Gabi Gotts (writer/member of LA hyper pop band NOT THE MAIN CHARACTERS), “scaredy cat” tells of the vulnerabilities in new relationships. Listen to it now below.

Of the song, she said, “‘scaredy cat’ is a song that is inspired by the beginning of my current relationship. I was struggling with major trust issues and had never really been in a relationship like this one before. The song is a mix of my feelings of being terrified to fully give in to this person and end up getting hurt and talking myself into taking that risk.”
