Los Angeles based indie-pop artist, Nolie is back with a striking new single, “Not Coming Home“. Listen to the song now below.
“Not Coming Home” was produced by the ever-talented producer, Logan Prescott, co- written by Benji of Slenderbodies and mixed by David Nakaji (Doja Cat, G-Eazy, Post Malone). Of the song, Nolie said, “‘Not Coming Home’ is not a love song or not a direct one at least. I wrote this initially after being upset with conversations I was having with friends and family back home in Indiana & Tennessee. At the same time, I think anyone who is far from their loved ones wants to express the worthiness of them being far away. And for me, the song is about trying to show the positive value of leaving these sometimes very closed-minded sections of the country that may have drove me away originally.”
Singer-songwriter Nolan Feldpausch, also known as Nolie, got his start making post hardcore music in his home state of Indiana. He briefly detoured into music photography and video directing where he grew from a young, energetic tour photographer and creative, into a focused and multi-talented songwriter. Now, he’s made a return to music while spending time between Nashville and LA honing in on his music and his craft, working with artists and producers like Slenderbodies, Elio, Jeremy Lloyd of Marian Hill, Bearson, Benny the Ghost, Chris Lyon, Ian Pollack, and more.
