Los Angeles-based artist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Julian Rose has released his debut EP, How Deep. The three song release perfectly demonstrates Julian’s eclectic and genre-defying sound, easily blending elements of rock, soul, funk, hip-hop and pop.
The Julian Rose project has been a lifetime in the making but, over the last few years, it also became Julian’s lifeline. “I was feeling very unhappy and felt like the future was hopeless. I was stuck in the monotony of life,” he says about the moment he felt he needed to throw himself into making music full time. “However, I always knew that music was the one thing that had been there for me. So, instead of relying on other people, I decided to rely on the thing that carried me through all the ups and downs of my childhood.”
