Denver based post-hardcore band, Hellgrammites have unveiled their highly anticipated new album, I Am Omega today via Sailor Records. The explosive and introspective nine-song release was previewed by self-reflective lead single, “Escargot” and their most recent track, “Laquerjacked”. Listen to the album in full now below.
Speaking previously of the themes on “Escargot” and I Am Omega as a whole, vocalist Erik Petersen explained, “The lyrics for ‘Escargot’ portray my intentions and desires for self improvement through sobriety. This theme is present in the lyrics for several of the tracks from the ‘I Am Omega’ LP.”
I Am Omega arrives ahead of a busy month of shows for Hellgrammites, kicking off in Denver on June 18th before taking the band throughout the midwest into July. The band will also be performing at this Denver’s Underground Music Showcase this summer, alongside artists like The Knocks, Faye Webster, Bully, Foxing, Holdfast. and MANY more.
