LA-based producer, morimori has released his new single, “Reach U“, a track that finds him reflecting on loss, what could have been and finding gratitude. The entrancing song is carried by lush instrumentals and emotional vocals. Listen to the track now below.
“This song and its lyrics have existed with me for a long time,” morimori explained of the song, “The vocals actually come from the first single I ever released back in 2018. That was a time when I didn’t have much idea of what kind of music I wanted to make or who I wanted to be as an artist. I’ve always loved the vocals and lyrics and for a while, I’ve wanted to give them a new home, one I could create with more confidence and skill. I feel like now they can truly shine.”
The house and garage inspired track will be followed by a stunning, cinematic music video, shot and directed by rising filmmaker Eugene H. Lee, premiering on June 28th.
