    Royals Release New Single, “Home”

South Coast UK pop punk outfit Royals have returned with their new single, “Home” today. Self-produced by Luke Smithson Productions with mixing by Jon Lundin of Point North (State Champs, Good Charlotte) and mastering by Grant Berry (All Time Low, Stand Atlantic, Deaf Havana), the new track puts a positive twist on feelings of longing. Listen to it now below.

When guitarist Will Sherlock was going through the loneliness of his partner traveling on the other side of the world, the band swapped out their usual content and took inspiration to create “Home”. Lyrically, it addresses the feelings experienced when a loved one is away, the struggles with time difference and the yearning for them to return home but acknowledging that despite the challenges, everything will be okay.

The track, which starts off with acoustic guitars but quickly kicks in with a catchy chorus and flawless key change, is perfect for warm summer weather. It follows the band’s EP, A Spark To Ignite, released last year.
