49th & Main have released “Up To Something” the latest single from their upcoming debut EP, Must Be Nice, out July 22nd on Counter Records (an imprint of Ninja Tune). Opening the highly-anticipated EP, “Up To Something” is another remarkably relatable cut from the duo. Sitting as an ode to those late nights that turn into (sometimes regrettable) early mornings, close to the bone lyrics collide with slinky instrumentation to create another glorious statement of intent from 49th & Main, cementing why their upward trajectory is so exciting.
Of the song, 49th & Main said, “This is a long night, forgotten conversations and empty wallets kinda tune that you just can’t help dance to”
The duo have been making unbelievable waves internationally – selling out their debut headline shows 6 months in advance and amassing tens of millions of streams, appearing as Spotify’s Radar cover stars earlier this year and playing Glastonbury Festival last month.
