Indie-pop newcomer, Zach Seabaugh has teamed up with indie artist, Anna Hamilton today to release their stunning new duet, “Maybe in the Morning“. The bittersweet new song, which perfectly blends both artists’ voices, can be heard now below.
“I’m so happy this song is out in the world for people to hopefully find some sort of comfort in,” shares Seabaugh. “The biggest response we’ve gotten is how relatable the song is, which was our entire goal during the writing process and what we hoped to achieve. Now that it’s released, I hope it can mean something to you.”
Written during their very first co-write together, “Maybe in the Morning” is about two people slowly drifting apart from each other, both aware and wanting to communicate, but both too terrified to bring it to light.
Zach Seabaugh is an alum and semi-finalist from Season 9 of The Voice, and has quickly built a devoted fanbase since then. He has a knack for weaving relatable stories through meaningful lyrics and stunning melodies in a way that perfectly embodies the complexities of young adulthood. Meanwhile, Anna Hamilton has quickly risen to the top of the charts in multiple countries with her acoustic cover of “Bad Liar” by Imagine Dragons. Together, both artists create a stunning combination of sound.
