Holly Humberstone has released the video for “Can You Afford To Lose Me?” inspired by her Fifth Sister Swap sustainable fashion initiative today. The initiative encourages the next generation to make more intentional fashion choices. Something that started with Holly’s three sisters as a way to recycle clothing has now grown into a global fan movement, with fans swapping clothes at the BRIT Rising Star’s live shows. The title track of Holly’s recently released extended collection of songs opens with “You’re my home planet,” alluding to her care for the planet, whilst explaining a tortured love.
“Can You Afford To Lose Me?” offers fans a culmination of the singer-songwriter’s past and present as she looks ahead to 2023 and the impending release of her highly anticipated debut album. The video arrives ahead of Holly’s upcoming North American Tour dates, which mark her biggest US and Canadian dates so far.
A testament to Humberstone’s dazzling ascent, the shows will put an exclamation point on a breakout year that’s seen her win the prestigious BRIT Rising Star Award, perform as a special guest on one of 2022’s hottest tours supporting Olivia Rodrigo, make her electrifying debut at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, stun audiences across the US on tour with girl in red and release her acclaimed new single “Sleep Tight.” Tickets for these headlining concerts are on sale HERE.
