Korean-Canadian alternative R&B virtuoso Sylo has released his latest single, “AIR” today. The velvety ballad full of orchestral swells and a playful kind of sexiness, finds Sylo telling the story of getting caught in a comfortably imperfect routine, unable to break the cycle. It is taken from Sylo’s upcoming EP, blanket.
On the release of “AIR,” Sylo said, “Forcing yourself to stay when you know you gotta go is always tumultuous.”
Taking some time to perfect a deeply meaningful body of work, Sylo thanked his fans for their patience while he put this together for them. Over the coming months, fans can anticipate plenty of music to keep their appetites satiated.
Earlier this year, Sylo released “Bento Box” / “American Idea” and “Millions” which were met with praise from the likes of NPR, Ones to Watch, Lyrical Lemonade, Atwood Magazine and Rolling Stone India. With support from Spotify’s SOUL R&B, indie pop & chill, and Alternative R&B editorial playlists, Sylo’s discography has hit a new point of maturation. Back in April and May, he also took to the road with MICHELLE for a North American tour run.
