Toronto’s Zeds Dead and dance music star, Jauz have teamed up for their new collaboration, “S.O.S“, featuring Nicole Millar today. The woozy, melancholic new track marks the third time that Zeds Dead and Jauz have collaborated and their first track together featuring Australian singer/songwriter Nicole Millar. Listen to it now below.
This past year, Zeds Dead had revamped their influence and acclaim with marquee performances, releases, and their latest nationwide Deadbeats label tour. The Deadbeats tour—the most unique, diverse electronic road shows around—stopped at iconic venues across the country such as Masonic Temple in Detroit, WaMu Theatre in Seattle, The Shrine in LA, The Brooklyn Mirage in NYC, and more.
Further cementing their status as bass music’s finest, Zeds Dead took over Denver this past 4th of July weekend for a 5-set, 3-night run in Denver, the unofficial bass music capital of America. The annual event not only included sold out, back-to-back nights at Red Rocks, but an outdoor Jamboree and 2-set gig at the renowned Mission Ballroom.
Meanwhile, last year, Jauz launched $BTX Coin, his own personal cryptocurrency via Rally, which will help emerging artists and their fans gain valuable exposure, release music, and even collaborate with him. In February his remix of SHAED’s breakout hit “Trampoline” was synced to star Netflix show Ginny & Georgia catapulting the release to new heights with over 2.5M cumulative usages on Tik Tok & REELS averaging 1M streams a week even 2 years after release. Most recently he was tapped by TV Giant CBS to remix “See You In September” by the Happenings for a 30 second spot to promote this Fall’s line up of Comedys, Dramas, and the new NFL Season. Jauz has also been tapping into his OTDE project even more, which has been exploding recently and led to a massive OTDE set at Coachella this month.
