Colorado-based alt-rock band Holdfast. have released their hopeful anthem, “Everything Wrong“. Accompanied by a music video that encompasses the band’s live shows, the song describes a lonely character who struggles to lift themselves up, finding hope and perseverance through music. The band’s message can be summed up in the post-chorus line: “There’s something in a song that helps me get along.” Watch the video now below.
The members of Holdfast. — brothers Tommy, Mikey and Charlie Maddocks — will also host a performance to celebrate the release of “Everything Wrong” this Saturday, January 21st at The Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO. On January 8, 2021, Holdfast. released their debut album, Stay and Fight, and the following year, the band partnered with production company Audio Network for the release of their seven-song EP, Movies, which was recorded at the famed The Blasting Room with longtime producer and collaborator Chris Beeble. Movies was released on April 15, 2022, which led to a west coast headline tour, a national U.S. tour supporting the UK’s Red Rum Club, and a sold-out UK run supporting Red Rum Club. The band have a number of releases that will follow “Everything Wrong,” with a full-length album to follow in 2023.
