Indie-pop starlet, Anna Shoemaker has released her stunning new single, “Holly” today via +1 Records. Serving as her first track this year, “Holly” arrives following a string of highly-praised releases and Anna’s 2022 full-length, Everything is Fine (I’m Only on Fire). The track is accompanied by a simplistic, yet beautiful video, which can be seen now below.
“‘Holly’ is about being the boy who cried wolf, but instead of the boy it’s me, and instead of a wolf, it’s an on-again-off-again self-proclaimed art bro who can only find his phone on the weekends – you know what and who I’m talking about….HAHA,” Anna shares. “You can tell who your real friends are when they tell you to shut up about him.”
Additionally, Anna’s single “Sick!” will be featured in the forthcoming Netflix rom-com “Your Place or Mine” starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. The Netflix Original film will premiere on Feb. 10.
