Bony Macaroni are back with “Bombs Away” the emotional latest track from their upcoming album, The Big Bucks, out March 31st via Redfield Records. Taking a step away from the other tracks released from the album thus far, “Bombs Away” is a more vulnerable, laidd-back, heartbreakingly beautiful track. Listen to it now below.
Singer Stefan Bonestroo said of the song, “’Bombs Away’ is a song about wanting to escape the conditions that made me the person I am. Coming from a family that struggled financially for a long time, as a result of the 2008 financial crisis, there is nothing more I want than for my family to be safe.“ Additionally there lines like: „It’s been 12 years since I first saw my father cry in the absence of a clear-cut explanation or a reason why. Like some fucking force of nature, a certain recalibration of all things expendable.“
‘The Big Bucks’ will be released by German label Redfield Records on March 31st, i.c.w. Suburban (NL) and Say Something Records (UK). It’s available for pre-order HERE.
