Prominent speed house producer, CHYL has announced her signing to Monstercat with her new single, “Fool Me.” Carried by soft vocals and cinematic, ethereal instrumentals, the track effortlessly fuses CHYL’s high-octane drops and bouncy rhythms for a sound all her own. Fans can look forward to hearing the new record live this month as she joins k?d at Popscene in San Francisco and at 1720 in Los Angeles on April 1st, as well as shows with Habstrakt on his tour next month. Listen to the track no below.
Speaking on the song, CHYL shares, “‘Fool Me’” is one of my favorite songs ever produced and I’m so happy it’s coming out on Monstercat. They’re the perfect home for the song. “Fool Me” combines a melodic vocal with a fun, bouncy speed house drop. One of my priorities as an artist is to push speed house forward in the dance music community. I hope the song brings back fun memories from your childhood!”
Columbia University graduate and former Wall Street professional CHYL has seen a meteoric rise over the last two years since graduating ICON Collective. Her collection of bass and speed house anthems have dominated festival and dancefloor crowds, heard in sets of electronic heavyweights such as Tiësto, JOYRYDE, Galantis, and more. Last year, she made her festival debut at COUNTDOWN, and played to sold out crowds including opening slots for Habstrakt at Academy in LA and Wuki at NOVA in San Diego. This year, she’s brought her energetic energy to the stage opening for Steve Aoki, 4B, and k?d, and has more exciting performances to be announced with fresh music to come on Monstercat.
