Metalcore trio Halocene have released their highly anticipated new EP, Maleficent today. The EP finds the band mixing brand new original music with dark and powerful covers of songs like “Unholy” (originally by Sam Smith and Kim Petras) and “Closer” (originally by Nine Inch Nails), showcasing their diverse array of influences. Listen to the EP now below.
“Maleficent invites you to embrace the darker side of you,” the band shares. “Whether it be your sexuality, your fears, or your mental health, it’s all about exploring the shadowy parts of your mind that can be difficult to face.”
