House tastemaker Curbi has released his new chill house single, “Quick Highs” featuring Helen today via Monstercat. Following multiple fan-favourites including “Vertigo” and “Flying,” the new track finds Curbi leaning more into his softer side to create a song that can be appreciated while relaxing and creating lasting memories. . Always aiming to explore beyond his usual repertoire of heavy club anthems, “Quick Highs” embodies that intent with its catchy melodies from singer-songwriter Helen, euphoric basslines, and soothing synths.
Speaking about the track, Curbi shares, “‘Quick Highs’ is a nice blend of my chill/vibey sound with some deeper and more thoughtful elements. Working with Helen on this in the studio was a bit more of a different experience, as we usually send everything over online as the track is progressing. I think the different approach of us being in a room together and connecting from scratch gave a different vibe. I love it!”
