Boston-based up-and-coming alt/indie-rock artist, Preston Lydotes has released his new single, “Let It Pour” today. Using the metaphor of heavy rainfall to represent the universal struggles surrounding change and self-acceptance, the track portrays this dynamic journey with its transition from a mellow guitar groove to an energetic full-band sound. The cathartic, empowering track can be heard now below.
Combining freewheeling guitar hooks with a raw vocal timbre, the 20-year-old articulates his own experiences through rock & roll storytelling. This past year, he and his band have broken through the Boston basement show scene, consistently drawing energized crowds. The Berklee College of Music student previously released his debut single “Golden Season” in October of 2022, following up in February with the track “Lonely As Me.” “Let It Pour” is part of a subsequent EP coming out later this summer. Lydotes plans to continue doing shows throughout the east coast – growing his live audiences both locally and as far as Nashville, TN.
