Denver multi-hyphenate N3ptune + Rusty Steve have returned with “SHADOW“, their first single of 2023 today. The dark-pop anthem, which is accompanied by an equally dark and iconic video, speaks to Gen Z’s outlook on an ailing world filled with media overconsumption and overexposure. Written and produced by both N3ptune and Rusty Steve, the song takes that existential crisis to the dance floor atop throbbing synths and underground booming 808s that drag you through the depths of darkness to find the light. Watch the video now below.
The video, produced by Manmade Media Studio was created with a state-of-the-art high-speed motion control robot by Mark Roberts Motion Control, the first music video of its kind to come out of Colorado capturing over 20 unique performances by N3ptune, Rusty Steve, and the dancers. “This allowed us to give the viewers an intimate view into the contemporary performance and electricity of a live N3ptune + Rusty Steve show,” says Marcin Biegunajtys, Studio owner and Motion Control Director.
Ahead of the duo’s upcoming album, due out this September, N3ptune + Rusty Steve will embark on a tour that will take them to major festivals like Electric Forest and Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle. All dates can be found below.
