ASTN Returns With New Single, “On Schedule”

    ASTN On Schedule

ASTN is continuiung his red-hot momentum with his lush new single “On Schedule” via Warner Records. The track serves as the second taste of what’s to come on his upcoming EP, Where Do We Go From Here? out July 14th. The rising R&B artist has been pushing boundaries with his haunting melodies and sing-songy lines, but this latest effort demonstrates ASTN’s ability to work across genres in a way that doesn’t feel forced. The new track is the perfect blend of intoxicating vibes and affection that leaves room for his voice to dip in and out of a dreamy loop. Listen to it now below.

Regarding the track, ASTN explains, “‘On Schedule’ is all about having that person that always seems to walk into your life at the right time. That person that’s exactly what you’re needing at that very moment. That person that can do no wrong.”

Inspired by timeliness, ASTN builds on the momentum of his UPROXX Sessions-approved performance of “How Soon” last month with a new song that’s upbeat and entrancing. Not to mention, a few weeks back, he recruited emerging songbird Alex Vaughn for a soulful remix to his aforementioned score.

As he continues to carve out his own lane in today’s R&B space, ASTN’s unfiltered takes on life, love, and that gray area in between makes for relatable music. Elsewhere, he’s been active on social media, breathing new life into his “what if this song was rnb” remixes to envelop the listener.

With “On Schedule,” the young scribe proves that his smooth delivery and dexterous range are catalysts for his artistic growth, and the project to come this Summer. Where Do We Go From Here? follows the 24-year-old’s major-label debut EP, You’re Almost There, released last year (March 25). The best part is that ASTN’s music has the potential to reach new audiences that he has not in the past because most people have been through what he croons about.
