Multi-platinum musical phenomenon Walk off the Earth and electronic violinist, dancer, and artist Lindsey Stirling have joined forces on their collaborative new single “Long Way Home” via Golden Carrot Records/The Orchard. The new track arrives ahead of their 20-date tour together later this summer. Produced by bandmembers Gianni Luminati and Tokyo Spiers, the song follows Walk off the Earth’s record-breaking hit single, “My Stupid Heart”.
Speaking on their new single, Walk off the Earth shares, “‘Long Way Home’ evokes a sentiment of romantic nostalgia and a desire for an unhurried journey. The idea of taking the long way home signifies a willingness to savor the present moment. It’s about spontaneous adventure, exploring unfamiliar places and creating lasting memories with the one you love. The references to the lemon trees and the stars in their eyes evoke a sense of enchantment and serenity. The idea that every moment spent with that person is precious and worth cherishing, even if it means deviating from the usual path.”
Beginning in August, Walk off the Earth and Stirling will embark on a 20+ date summer tour kicking off on August 1 in Bridgeport, CT. Full tour routing can be found below and tickets are available for purchase via the band’s official website.
