Sundressed have released their highly anticipated self-titled album today via Rude Records. The album features the band’s latest single “Nothing” as well as “Expiration Date”, a song that vocalist Trevor Hedges wrote for his wife. The band will be sharing a brand new music video for “Expiration Date” tomorrow, August 12th at 11am ET.
“When I wrote ‘Expiration Date’, my original plan was to perform it live and propose to my wife, but she beat me to it!” shares Hedges. “The next best thing was filming a music video for it at our wedding so we went for it. This song’s about that feeling of finding your person and knowing they’re going to be a part of your life forever!”
He adds, “’Nothing’ was originally written by our guitar player AJ and our friend Huxley. When they brought the idea to the studio, I was absolutely blown away and knew we had to find a place on the album for it. It’s rare to get to record a song with such raw emotion and I’m so proud to have it on the album!”
Earlier this summer, Sundressed performed in the VIP lounge at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater for Fall Out Boy’s concert in Phoenix. Tonight they’ll be kicking off their West Coast tour in Anaheim, with dates to follow in Berkeley, Seattle, Boise, Denver, and more.
