Two of the hottest up-and-coming names in electronic music, Pauline Herr and Jon Casey have joined forces on their new single, “Toxic” today. Their debut collaborative effort not only further signals their rise in the scene, but cements them as artists who have properly arrived. Listen to it now below.
“Toxic” arrives alongside the announcement of their ‘Collision Tour’ – a string of four headline dates in Tempe, San Francisco, Salt Lake City and Denver where the two will be performing special back-to-back sets. The Denver date is in support of Alison Wonderland at the live music mecca Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Both artists have a propensity to dabble in a number of styles and genres while refusing to be tied down to a singular sound, and “Toxic” is yet another refreshing blend of styles from the two producers. It can only be described as a perfectly balanced collaboration, with equal input from both Casey and Herr.
Casey is an electronic music producer from South Africa who has garnered support from industry titans like Skrillex and NGHTMRE because of his innovative and genre-bending production abilities. Herr has received co-signs from the likes of RL Grime and San Holo to name a few, and shines as a musical triple threat because of her abilities as a producer, singer and DJ.
