Limited edition Vinyl, CD and digital bundles are now available on the band’s webstore and in select retailers across the US. In support of the album, the band will continue their relentless tour schedule with a 6-week US run kicking off October 13th in Sacramento. Following the album release, the band will host a special Spotify listening party for US premium users only at noon PST on Tuesday, October 10th. The band will also host a Reddit AMA on Thursday October 12th to answer questions and chat with fans.
“The Daytrippin album is a return to our roots,” the band says of the album, “We set out to strike a balance between polished studio production and the energy of a live show. We leaned on our reggae and rock influences to find a natural evolution from earlier albums like Time Bomb and Hotting Up.”
The album was mostly self-produced by the band with the help of acclaimed songwriter/producer Suzy Shinn (Panic! at the Disco, Weezer, Dua Lipa) and longtime friend and producer David Manzoor, and fe qatures guest appearances by Maxi Priest and Claire Wright. Throughout their celebrated career, Iration has racked up more than 1 billion total streams worldwide and established themselves as one of the most popular reggae-rock bands in the world, with their classic songs “Time Bomb” and “Falling” reaching RIAA certified gold status in 2020. Iration’s sun-drenched songs have also garnered critical acclaim with American Songwriter, Billboard, All Music, The Noise and others.
Touring nationally since 2008, Iration is renowned for their captivating live performances. They’ve performed at major music festivals like Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, Hangout Fest, Cali Vibes Fest, Bottlerock; as well as special performances for the San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Kelly Slater, and Senator Bernie Sanders.
