Cade Hoppe Drops New EP, “Just Look at the Moon”

New York-based indie-pop artist, Cade Hoppe is back with his new EP, Just Look at the Moon today. From heartfelt love songs (“Labels,” “Only Human”) to existential reflections (“Moon,” “Fresh Start”), the 7-track EP demonstrates his remarkable range — vocally, sonically, and lyrically.

“I managed to get much more existential with this project, for better or worse,” he says. “The more I give to music and the pursuit of it, the more detached from reality I become, and there’s a lot of that in here.”

The EP features a range of musical guests and collaborators, like Rob Moose (Sufjan Stevens, Phoebe Bridges, Taylor Swift), Harper James (Eighty Ninety, James Bay, Aaron Taos), Bobby Hawk (Taylor Swift, The 1975, Florence and the Machine), and Jesse Blum (Twenty One Pilots, MisterWives, Nas) that amplify the record’s richly textured sound.

Following his 2021 EP ‘Tell Me How It’s Worth It’ and 2022 EP ‘Everything That’s Wrong With You,’ ‘Just Look at the Moon’ showcases Cade’s growing confidence as an artist, songwriter, and producer. In just a few short years, the 23-year-old has gone from writing songs in his bedroom to working alongside legendary musicians and producers. With his steadfast determination and undeniable talent, Cade Hoppe is one of indie-pop’s most exciting young stars.
