Singer/songwriter, John-Robert has released “Westward Bound”, the second single from his forthcoming EP, Garden Snake. The new track serves as a sneak peek of the upcoming collection of songs that skillfully blur the lines between acoustic folk and pop. Listen to it now below.
“At 18 I packed up my bags, and moved across the country from Virginia to LA with the dream of being able to make music into a full time career,” John-Robert shares. “At the time I was in a long distance relationship, but because of distance and timing we ultimately decided to end things. I wrote this song for her so that she would know that even though we weren’t together anymore she would still always have a place in my heart and home, and if she ever found herself in the neighborhood, to not be a stranger and come knock on my door.”
John-Robert is celebrating the release of his new EP with a special release show on December 8th at Genghis Cohen in Los Angeles. Tickets are available now.
Fans can also look forward to catching him on tour in February, supporting Bailen on the west coast dates of their upcoming tour. John-Robert will be featured on stops in Santa Ana, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland. All dates can be found below.
