Singer/songwriter AJ Mitchell has announced The AFATECS North American tour in support of his upcoming highly anticipated sophomore album, As Far As The Eye Can See. The 21-date tour will kick off in Vancouver, BC on May 31, hitting Los Angeles, CA on June 5 and New York, NY on June 27 before wrapping up in Philadelphia, PA on July 1. A special pre-sale for Spotify listeners will launch tomorrow, March 12 at 9am ET. Fans can look out for an email from Spotify with a special code for early access to purchase tickets. Tickets will go on-sale to the general public this Friday, March 15 at 9 AM ET via https://www.ajmitchell.me. The full tour routing can be found below.
Up next, the budding star will release his anticipated new single “Flowers On The Moon” this Friday. Premiering alongside an epic visual, the song and sprawling storyline sets the stage for the release of AJ Mitchell’s new album As Far As The Eye Can See. The cinematic album unfolds as a true coming-of-age. Tracing all of the stages of a relationship from infatuation to eventual dissolve, the 22-year-old says that after knowingly dating someone that wasn’t good for him, he felt compelled to, “Go ‘as far as the eye can see,’ where there’s nothing blocking my vision, where I’m free to create.” He kicked off the story at the end of 2023 with “Passionate,” taking fans on a journey ruminating on the intense passion he had for a new romance, and started 2024 with “Foolish,” a song that venerably bares self-doubt about the downfall of a relationship.
There’s more to AJ Mitchell than meets the eye, and he’s taking us As Far As The Eye Can See. Stay tuned for more information, set to be announced soon.
