Lincoln’s such an egotistical piece of shit he named his band after himself. One day Sam Means (The Format) tweeted a link to a YouTube cover of one of his songs that Lincoln recorded. It caught the ears of I Surrender Records (along with Lincoln’s original songs), and in a moment of sheer enthusiasm couldn’t resist reaching out and signing him.
Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Lincoln’s music is equal parts pretentious and angsty. His debut EP, A Constant State of Ohio, was released in January 2017 on I Surrender Records. In this EP you’ll peer into the honesty of this 19 year old self-aware mind of teenage rebellion in a way you haven’t heard before. or maybe you have… FUCK IT! Just listen.
Lincoln has begun working on his debut full-length album with A Constant State of Ohio producer Brett Romnes, whose previous credits also include The Front Bottoms, Hot Mulligan, Oso Oso, and more.
Until then, he’s excited to share the Saint Bernard 7”, out now via I Surrender Records.
