With summer drawing to an end, Zedd closed the season with a sold-out return to Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater August 31st, 2022. Fans were ecstatic getting into the venue for the festivities, many rocking vibrant outfits and good energy despite the windy weather for his return since 2019.
Starting off the night, Alana English and Disco Lines kicked things off with quick but enjoyable performances. As the seats were getting filled, Audien came on, bringing a lot to the table with an hour-long energetic set. Filled with energy, the crowd was engaging, jumping around without a stop in sight. By the time he finished, nearly all the stands were packed with a sea of people ready for what was ahead.
All of that energy was kicked up higher by Matoma, who brought his Norwegian touch to Colorado, this show coming before headlining his own 11-stop tour throughout the US. much of the audience seemed tapped into his energy, jumping around the stage and hoping on the microphone to hype up the crowd throughout his set.
Before you knew it, the arena went dark with just a Z on the rocks. Zedd came onstage grinning from ear to ear as he kicked off the nearly two-hour, no breaks performance. Zedd performed a mix of beloved classics and even new experiments all with impressive visuals throughout and a variety of explosions of fireworks and smoke that kept the crowd in high spirits. As this show kickoff a 4-month tour, I couldn’t recommend checking him out enough!
