Plague Vendor made their television debut last night on Last Call with Carson Daly. The performance was taped at a headlining show for the band in West Hollywood, CA and aired last night.
Watch the band ignite the stage with performances of “Jezebel“, “Ox Blood” and “Black Sap Scriptures“.
Just last week, the Whittier rock n roll band released their sophomore album BLOODSWEAT via Epitaph. Plague Vendor celebrated at Amoeba Records for a memorable Hollywood in store to kick things off. Equal parts bluesy dance rock and punk, BLOODSWEAT invokes its own name as it unfurls. It’s an album edged with a sense of danger and vulnerability and “outlaw punk recklessness” according to LA Record. Nearly all of the eleven songs on BLOODSWEAT were heavily road-tested, imagined, and re-imagined live before ever making it into the studio. The foursome spent the last two years playing endless live shows, filling everywhere from backyard parties to clubs to festivals. Plague Vendor is the kind of band interested in simplicity and the sort of expressive nakedness that can come from stripping everything away.
Fans can catch Plague Vendor this May and June on an upcoming tour with the iconic Swedish hardcore band Refused.
