George Morris has released the second single from his upcoming self-titled solo LP. “Full Of Stars,” which originally premiered on Idobi Radio can be heard below!
“‘Full of Stars’ basically all came from the Space Odyssey books by Arthur C. Clarke….plus a few random rhymes,” says Morris. “The chorus is one of my favorite melodies I’ve written, probably because I don’t remember writing it.
The full-length will be released on February 10th and marks Morris’ third album since his departure from the Island Records band The Satin Peaches. After the group called it quits in 2010, Morris began writing new material, expanding his guitar and piano skills, and working on tunes that called back to Radiohead, Velvet Underground, and The Beatles.
