New Found Glory have released a music video for their new track, “Happy Being Miserable.” The song is taken from the band’s upcoming Makes Me Sick, due out April 28th via Hopeless Records. Pre-orders for the album, which was produced by Aaron Sprinkle (MxPx, Anberlin, Acceptance) and mixed by Tom Lord Alge (U2, The Rolling Stones, Blink 182) are available now at http://newfoundglory.merchnow.com/.
“With our album being called ‘Makes Me Sick’ (out 4/28), it seemed like the perfect opportunity to take the iconic scene from Stand By Me and give it our own spin. Or maybe we just wanted to show that all bad situations can have a redemptive outcome if you let it. Are you just gonna let life puke all over you? Or are you gonna look beyond yourself, pull people together, and celebrate being alive?” – New Found Glory
The band is also heading out on a tour celebrating their 20th Anniversary, which starts March 22nd in Baltimore, MD and travels across the United States before ending in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on May 12th. Fans will be able to hear select albums in their entirety released prior to 2010 at each tour date. A full list of dates and albums can be found at newfoundglory.com.
