At their monthly event in Los Angeles this week, Emo Nite took over The Echo and Echoplex for an evening of live music, surprise guests, DJ sets and PBR. This month’s party started off with a few extra laughs thanks to a Seinfeld-themed intro video complete with an appearance from Tyson Ritter (The All-American Rejects, Parenthood.)
On the intro video, T.J. Petracca shares, “Every month we have a great time putting together a fun little intro video for our show with our director friend Jon Ryan. Seinfeld is one of our favorite shows of all time and we were a little hesitant to tackle it because it is such a masterpiece. But once we got Tyson on board to play Kramer we knew it was going to be good!”
Later in the night, Tyson also performed some fan favorite AAR songs along with a beautiful string quartet. The intro video and footage from Tyson’s performance can be seen now below.
Last month, Emo Nite also hosted a 3-Day Pop Up Event at Urban Outfitters’ Space 15 Twenty in celebration of the release of their clothing collection in Urban Outfitters stores across the country. That, coupled with more shows across the country this summer and fall means that the party is only getting started. Upcoming tour dates are listed below!
