LA-based Nü Disco producer Le Youth has teamed up with GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter/producer MNDR for his new song, “I Could Always.” The song, which can be heard below, follows Le Youth’s infectious summer hit “Clap Your Hands” featuring pop songstress Ava Max.
Known for combining nineties sounds with a modern aesthetic, Le Youth tapped MNDR on the entrancing track, who made waves when she collaborated with Mark Ronson and Q-tip on the 2010 hit single “Bang Bang Bang.” Since 2013, MNDR has been co-writing songs for artists including Charli XCX, AlunaGeorge, Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, Sean Paul, Martin Solveig, and more. She recently stood in for Nick Rhodes on keyboards for the US leg of the Duran Duran “Paper Gods” tour and is currently working on her sophomore album.
