Sleeptalk Release New Single “I Hope You’re Doing Well”

    By Dom VigilFebruary 15, 2018

"'Miami' is one of the first songs I ever wrote, and the reactions gave me the confidence to keep going and actually pursue music for real,” genre-jumping indie artist Julia Bhatt tells FLOOD who premiered the tropic-pop observation of her hometown in Florida.

Electro/indie pop band Sleeptalk have released their latest single “I Hope You’re Doing Well.” The melancholy breakup anthem serves as the perfect soundtrack to your Valentine’s Day if you’re spending this one alone or at the very least, catchy enough to get you through the rest of the week.

Vocalist Anthony Fitzpatrick says “This song is about that feeling you feel when you and your love break up. You are so devastated you feeling dying. The hook in this song “You broke my heart and oh I’m so sad, i could die” explains that feeling. I went through a breakup recently and this is the song that came from that.“
