Today, with the release of her new single, “Not Afraid To Fall,” Iyves has returned to music after a short hiatus. Mirroring her journey back to this release, Iyves confessed to Atwood Magazine that “Not Afraid To Fall” was something she has to struggle to achieve. “This song was written when I was dealing with some difficult realizations in my relationship,” she admits “and I had come to terms that I was ready to take a separate path on my own.”
Her work was worth the effort. Picking up exactly where she left off, “Not Afraid To Fall,” possesses her signature electric hooks, brooding vocals and empowering and unwavering strength, highlighting where she is headed, while reminding us where she’s been.
The new track is the first release from Iyves forthcoming new EP, which is set for release in the spring of 2018.
