Danish alternative pop artist, M.I.L.K. has released the video for his latest single “Slow Emotions” just in time for the winter cold to let go of it’s final grasp on the northeastern United States. Tropical drums and laid back vibes set a warm, beachy tone on “Slow Emotions” – and the visual does a great job of capturing the vibrancy that the track creates.
“This was the first song I wrote for the EP. When I started I knew I wanted to keep the beach vibe of my first EP, but this time all of the songs should be made for “dancing on the beach” rather than “chilling at the beach”. So based on this dogma I wrote Slow Emotions. The lyrics has this dual function of being both a classic love song about two strangers meeting on the dance floor in a flirt that gradually heats up as the song progress, but the song can also be heard as sort of a hint for all of us to react on the rising temperatures and abandon our “slow emotions” towards the melting poles etc.” – M.I.L.K.
