Copenhagen based alternative pop artist, M.I.L.K. has released his latest single “Make My Way To Paris” featuring French singer and songwriter, Benjamin Biolay. The track is the second offering to be released from his sophomore EP, Maybe I Love Kokomo, coming May 25th.
Stemming from his fascination of all things French, Emil Wilk set up basecamp in Paris while working on the next EP, achieving a more modern and upscale sound than his previous laid back summer tracks found on his first release, A Memory Of A Memory Of A Postcard.
Of “Make My Way To Paris”, M.I.L.K. said, “This song we wrote with Benjamin Biolay is about that: making it in Paris, but also making my way to Paris, physically speaking. If I can make it in Paris, then I can make it everywhere. I love Biolay, he’s a true modern icon. In my world, he is the King of Paris and in this song, the King of Paris welcomes me. His part, rapped more than sung, is the purest version of what I admire in French poetry. I’m proud of this collaboration, it’s probably my favourite song I’ve ever been part of.””
