The End Of The Ocean formed in early 2009, and have since proven again and again that they have a penchant for crafting soundtrack-esque anthems that move freely from beautiful to trippy to heart-tugging to fist clenching. Heavily influenced by mid 90’s emo and their post-rock contemporaries, The End Of The Ocean utilizes intricate drumming, subtle guitar arpeggios, and a vast range of effects to craft beautiful, nostalgic and refreshingly unique memorable songs.
The End Of The Ocean will be opening for hardcore luminaries, Norma Jean in their hometown of Columbus on May 27th at Ace of Cups. Their dynamic live show has long been regarded as a ‘can’t miss’ experience and has garnered admiration from a long list of well regarded bands with whom they’ve played – including Caspian, Touche Amore, Code Orange, and Pianos Become the Teeth. Stay tuned for upcoming tour dates from the band as their performances are sure to be a big draw that you will want to see for yourself.
