Chris Hess (Vocals/Guitar) on Uh Huh:
“Uh Huh” is a bounce-house-party version of a slacker-gen anthem. It deals with that guilt that comes with being a night owl and working in an industry that is prone to late nights and late sleeping. What do we miss in those early morning hours? What gems of knowledge are escaping us when we sleep through ‘The View’? This song is us sitting under the interrogating sheen of the Flolights and CBS morning camera lenses, across from Barbara Walters and asking her, “If I left behind the lifestyle I’ve grown accustomed to as a function of this wacky occupation, God, what would I be trying to prove?”
