Covet have shared their new song, “Glimmer” from their forthcoming release, effloresce out July 13th via Triple Crown Records.
“This song originally started as a more gentle, acoustic piece I wrote and when I played it with the full band, it evolved into a moodier and heavier song,” explains guitar player Yvette Young. “We added a bunch of delay and modulation to it, as well as some grit, and all of a sudden it transformed into the ‘Glimmer’ we have on the album!”
Bass player David Adamiak echoed those thoughts, adding, “This song samples the more melodic waters that are captured on the efflorescerelease.”
effloresce pre-orders (http://smarturl.it/effloresce) are available now, with digital pre-orders including instant downloads of “Glimmer” and “Shibuya (ft. San Holo)”.
