Denver alt-pop band, AMZY have released their uplifting new single, “Together We Are the Same” today! The band, who just kicked off the first annual Grandoozy Festival in Denver on September 14th, are proving once more why they are one of Denver’s most exciting emerging acts with this this new release, complete with relatable, honest lyrics, a catchy as hell chorus and twinkling instrumentals. AMZY gained traction on the Denver scene when they won iHeartMedia Channel 93.3 Demo Derby in 2016 with their Demo “Time To Change” debuting on the radio shortly after. Their single “5 to midnight” was selected for 93.3’s Hometown for the Holidays Top 11 and lead to them winning Hometown for the Holidays 2014. AMZY has released two EPs, “We Don’t Walk, We Dance” and “Worlds of Our Own” with their singles “Words” and “Sorry (Not Sorry)” receiving rotational airplay on 93.3. “Words” reached #1 most wanted in Denver on KTCL 93.3 and “Sorry (Not Sorry)” peaking at #5. After sold out-shows at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, AMZY went on tour with Saint Motel as part of their “Saint Motelivision Tour” throughout 2017. After a mid-west tour in 2018, the band returned to Denver to begin recording new music. AMZY has shared the stage with Bastille, The Wombats, Cold War Kids, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Atlas Genius, The Airborne Toxic Event, Robert Delong, MisterWives and just played the Main stage at Grandoozy Music Festival in Fall of 2018.
