Chart-topping rock band, The Revivalists have unveiled the “All My Friends” Live from Red Rocks video ahead of the release of their brand new studio album, Take Good Care this Friday November 9th (Loma Vista Recordings). Filmed earlier this fall at the band’s electrifying sold-out Red Rocks show, the video captures the acclaimed 8-piece’s rock n’ roll spirit, soulful essence and striking live presence.
The Revivalists recently performed “All My Friends” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (CLICK HERE to watch) as the song continues to climb the Top 10 at Alternative Radio and picks up steam at Hot AC after hitting #1 at Triple A. Fans have been getting an early taste of some of the other new songs on Take Good Care – such as fan favorite “You And I“, “Got Love” and anti-gun violence anthem “Shoot You Down”– at the band’s live shows, including their recent buzzed-about set at Voodoo in their hometown of New Orleans. Marked by songwriting that is both intensely personal and also an escape, Take Good Care is brimming with sonic complexity, celebration, and catharsis – a reflection of the up-and-down journey of life that we’re all on together. The Revivalists enlisted Dave Cobb [Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton], Andrew Dawson [Kanye West, Fun., Sleigh Bells], andDave Bassett [Elle King, Vance Joy] for sessions in New Orleans as well as Nashville, where they recorded at the iconic RCA Studio B, soaking up the aura of one of the most storied studios in music.
The 14-track LP is available for pre-order now, along with instant downloads of “All My Friends,” “You & I” and “Got Love.” Click HERE to pre-order or pre-save the album. The Revivalists also recently released a limited edition 7″ “Shoot You Down” vinyl single powered by RPM, with sales benefitting Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund. The Revivalists felt compelled to put pen to paper and speak to the overwhelming gun violence problem in our society, creating a powerful song that serves as both an emotional balm and a call to action. The vinyl, which is orange – the color of the gun violence prevention movement, features “Shoot You Down” on Side A and “You and I” on Side B and is available exclusively at independent record stores around the country, who are being encouraged to work with local Everytown chapters to support the grassroots movement for gun safety. Everytown is leading a movement of more than 4 million Americans working to end gun violence and build safer communities.
