After gaining momentum with their debut track “Slip,” Boston-based indie folk collective Lick Neon have released their newest single, “She Thinks I Don’t Care.”
Subtly layered yet smoothly complex, “She Thinks I Don’t Care” twists and turns over a conflict of control, sonically reminiscent of Cat Stevens, David Vandervelde, or José Gonzalez. The soft and somber acoustic narrative of “She Thinks I Don’t Care” is just one more side in the upcoming collection of tracks that have been floating around the Boston underground – some older, some newer.
“She Thinks I Don’t Care” is another glimpse into the world of Lick Neon before their debut album release in 2019. Listen to the track now below!
