Multi-platinum-selling UK quintet BRING ME THE HORIZON are kicking off 2019 in grand style with a “Best Rock Song” Grammy nomination for “Mantra” and today’s release of brand-new track “Medicine”
“Mantra” (which has over 26.5 million Spotify streams and 13 million YouTube views and is a Top 10 hit at Active Rock Radio) and “Medicine” appear on the band’s much-anticipated new album, AMO (Columbia Records), which comes out January 25th. Fans can get both tracks—along with third song “wonderful life” (ft Dani Filth) — by clicking HERE to pre-order the album ahead of its release date.
The band spent last summer writing and recording in Los Angeles, with vocalist Oli Sykes and keyboardist Jordan Fish handling production. About the album, which features the Grimes collaboration “nihilist blues,” the Evening Standard wrote, “…the album is a considerable distance away from the devil-horned, headbanging heavy rock. Not content with being one of the UK’s biggest hard rock bands, now the Sheffield five-piece are attempting to become its most interesting.”
Produced by Live Nation, BMTH will kick off their North American headline tour on January 23rd in Nashville (see itinerary below), to be followed by shows in South America, Australia and a plethora of festivals around the world. Tickets are on sale now at LiveNation.com.
Bring Me The Horizon are one of the most electrifying and successful rock bands to emerge from the UK, selling over 2 million albums globally to date, playing sold-out shows in over 40 countries, including two sold out nights at London’s O2 plus wowing a traditionally non-rock crowd at Glastonbury Festival in 2016. They just completed a sold-out UK tour in November and you can see them performing “wonderful life” to a packed-house arena by clicking HERE.
