This Wild Life Announce Spring Tour

    By Dom VigilJanuary 9, 2019

Made up of four sisters (Colby, Shelby, Carthi and Faith Benson), Crimson Apple has built up quite a buzz over the past year, and with the release of their Somebody EP, 2019 is shaping up to be their year.

Acoustic rock duo This Wild Life (comprised of Kevin Jordan & Anthony Del Grosso) have announced a headlining North American tour in support of their latest album Petaluma. ‘The Petaluma Tour’ will kick off April 6 in San Diego, CA and wrap May 5 in Los Angeles, CA. Support for the tour will include Chicago pop punk band Sleep On It and California band Crooked Teeth, with another act soon to be announced. Tickets will go on sale Friday, January 11. This Wild Life was formed in 2010 in Long Beach, CA. The duo has released three studio albums with Epitaph Records; Clouded (2014), Low Tides (2016), and Petaluma (2018). Produced by Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy), Petaluma presents itself as one of the band’s brightest and more uptempo offerings across its growing & celebrated catalog. “This album is the first record we made with a clear vision before the first song was ever written,” Jordan says. “Something with the dynamics and emotion we’ve always strived for, but within the bounds of a bright, warm, and organic sonic energy flowing through it.” In limiting the songs’ arrangements to only including instruments that can physically be played live, they opened the door to their most honest and explorative songwriting to date.
