    guardin Re-Releases “i think you’re really cool”

    By Dom VigilJanuary 11, 2019

In their ten years as a band, Paris pop-punk/alternative rock quintet, Back On Earth has accomplished quite a bit, especially considering that five of those years have been on hiatus.

Western New York-based artist guardin has re-released his popular single, “i think you’re really cool” via Photo Finish Records.

guardin is the artist project of singer/songwriter Nicholas Kerr. From the confines and isolation of his bedroom and by way of his laptop, guardin’s music has connected with millions of people online through sharing an unfiltered, self-aware, and at times all-consuming stream of observations and thoughts about the people and world rapidly revolving around him.

Blending a modern incarnation of alternative, emo, hip-hop and touching on the the vast depths of subject matter commonly associated with stigma: mental health, depression, suicidal thoughts, introversion, solitude, growing pains, heartbreak, and more, guardin aspires through his music to reach others, and let them know that they are not alone.

In addition to signing with Photo Finish Records, guardin wrapped up 2018 supporting Oliver Francis on select east coast dates and is currently on an extensive US tour with gnash and Mallrat.
