Nashville based Pop/Rock band, Carverton have announced their forthcoming album, Chasing Sounds, due out March 29, 2019 (fans can pre-order the album here). The album, produced/engineered by Danen Rector and mixed/engineered by Christian Ferguson, features 13 songs about following adventures through life’s trivial ups and downs. Each song is about pivotal points in one’s life, leaving the listener feeling welcomed and accepted to a community that appreciates personal growth during the hardest of times.
Singer, Kyle Yorlets, expands, “We hope our music can be both relatable and encouraging to those who need it. Life is crazy and unpredictable, and we want to portray that in our music.”
To celebrate the release of their forthcoming album, the band will be performing at The Back Corner on March 30, 3019 with Yearløve and Air Ralley. Tickets can be purchased on the band’s website.
Off the album comes “Wildside,” a song about the spontaneous moments and journey of falling in love. The single actually began as an EDM project that singer Kyle Yorlets did for a class project in college, but quickly grew in to a well orchestrated Pop/Rock tune with the aid of fellow members, Michael Curry, Christian Ferguson, and Michael Wiebell.
Yorlets elaborates, “Love is adventurous and can take you to places that you never thought you would go, and this song will take you on that journey. With the right use of metaphors and imagery, even the big city can become something illustrious and beautiful. ‘Take a walk on the wild side,’ and go conquer the concrete jungle with that special someone.”
The video, which originally premiered on Idobi Radio, was shot in downtown Nashville on a 20-story rooftop, recorded completely by drones. Stream the brand new music video for “Wildside” now below.
Given the recent events of the California wildfires, Carverton have partnered with The California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund to donate 10% of sales of their “Wildside” t-shirt (which can be purchased here). The California Community Foundation supports intermediate and long-term recovery efforts for major California wildfires, as well as preparedness efforts and support for animals affected by wildfires. Since the Wildfire Relief Fund opened in 2003, they have granted more than $6 million to support relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of devastating California wildfires. The Wildfire Relief Fund receives donations from the public and distributes them to 501c3 nonprofit organizations that serve communities and individuals affected by wildfires.
