In celebration of the release of Billie Eilish’s new record, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, indie-folk outfit Jared & The Mill have released a re-imagined cover of “When The Party’s Over“. Listen to the track now below.
The members of the indie-folk band are long-time admirers of Billie’s music and can relate to it on many different levels. Frontman Jared Kolesar says “Feeling hopelessness to your own self-destructive ways is a really difficult challenge to move past and pulling people into your life when you see yourself as harmful is really scary. As somebody who spends most of my time away from home, I’ve dealt with a lot of this anxiety, and I think that’s why the song resonates with me.”
You can catch Jared & The Mill on tour throughout North America in support of their recently released album, This Story Is No Longer Available, throughout June. Full itinerary can be found below.
